NEW: Cloud Backup & Restore Feature

We are pleased to announce the release of our new cloud backup and restore feature for our Doors.NET users.

When utilizing the Cloud Backup and Restore feature, you can store a copy of your database and Doors.NET configuration on AWS (Amazon Web Services) meaning your information is securely backed up and can be retrieved at the click of a button should you need it.
A cloud backup is a great way to keep your data safe, secure, and accessible when you need it.

Why should you consider utilizing cloud backups?

Disaster redundancy: Businesses can protect their data from local disasters such as fires, floods, and theft by storing backups in the cloud. Additionally, cloud backup protects against ransomware attacks, which are becoming increasingly common in recent years. Securing your data is crucial.

Resilience: Cloud backups can increase resilience and bolster your business continuity by providing a seamless and responsive data recovery strategy, so you can rest easy knowing your access control data is safe, regardless of the situation.

Automated Backups: With Doors.NET’s System Calendar, you can schedule automatic backups to occur at periods ranging from daily to yearly, to ensure that your backups are regularly performed, so you aren’t at risk of losing your system database.

Easy Restoration: Data loss and corruption can take a business days, even weeks, to rebuild or recover the data stored on-premise, and in some cases advanced data recovery may cost a business thousands.

With a cloud backup, businesses can restore their data with a single click of a button, reducing downtime and minimizing disruptions – vital for any mission-critical applications.

And just for peace of mind, you will receive email notifications to notify you that your backups are being created successfully and frequently.
