We are proud to announce our new ‘Video Plug-and-Play’ platform as a replacement for our previous ‘Reflections’ program. The new platform will be offered with Doors.NET version 5.0.0 and onwards.

The new feature allows a vast selection of camera models from many different manufacturers to be added to the system to create a video-integrated security system. After the cameras are added to Doors.NET, they can be associated with readers, inputs, or outputs and trigger a live video stream of events related to the hardware, or playback recordings from a linked event.
The software is able to associate system alerts with recorded video. For example, in the event of a break-in, the ‘Video Plug-and-Play Integration’ can fetch recorded footage from your chosen VMS, providing a snippet of footage from the event.
The software can also be configured to display a live video window if a specific event occurs. For example, if there is a door-forced event at the reader, the software will trigger an alert and a live window will appear on the Doors.NET software screen. This allows the user to view the event in real-time and take action accordingly.
This new feature allows you to create an integrated system with our partnered video providers to give you the most robust system possible.
